Hollywood, CA

Project Overview

The Hollywood play theater required artwork throughout its lobby, bathrooms, and various locations to enhance the guest experience during a crucial play night.

Design Concept

Given the horror theme of the play, I opted for designs featuring creepy eyes, skeletons, and a chupacabra. These elements were chosen to complement the eerie atmosphere of the theater and set the stage for the play’s theme.

Impact and Community Response

The murals proved to be a hit among guests, who enjoyed taking pictures in front of them. They effectively maintained the creepy and fun atmosphere of the playhouse, enhancing the overall experience for everyone attending the performances.

Conclusion

In conclusion, this project demonstrates my ability to curate the mood of a venue through artwork in a way that encourages guest engagement and interaction with the art. It highlights my skill in using visuals to enhance the thematic elements of theatrical settings, creating memorable experiences for theatergoers.
